KOTA KINABALU: Before you cast your vote this 29th November 2025, take one deep breath…and then Imagine a Better Sabah.
As we stand on the edge of yet another important election, I ask every Sabahan—young or old, rural or urban—to pause for just a moment.
Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Clear your mind of all the noise, banners, slogans, and promises.
And then ask yourself, “What kind of Sabah do I want to wake up to five years from now?”
Because your answer to that question… will determine the mark you make on that ballot paper.
SABAH DESERVES LEADERS WHO TRULY UNDERSTAND HER
For too long, decisions about Sabah have been influenced and dictated—by powers far from our shores. Parties that fly in from outside, bringing along their own agendas, their own priorities, their own sets of expectations and instructions.
They do not understand our culture, our identity, our daily struggles. Even their “Sabahan” representatives cannot move without waiting for approval from their bosses across the sea.
Is that the leadership Sabah deserves? A leader who must ask permission before helping his own people?
We cannot afford puppets in a time when we need protectors.
DO NOT BE MISLED BY DRAMAS AND U-TURNS
Every election, we see the same political theatre. Grand promises. Big Big announcements. Emotional slogans meant to tug at our hearts.
And then what happens after that?
Some who claim to be “local fighters” today… run back to their peninsula “mothership” tomorrow. Some who vow loyalty to Sabah end up using us as bargaining chips.
Sabahans must stop rewarding this pattern. We must stop being naïve and believing personalities instead of checking track records.
A candidate who smiles at you today cannot fix your problems for the next five years if they have no proven capacity, no courage, and no independence.
DO NOT VOTE FOR FEAR, DIVISION OR MANIPULATION
Beware of those who use race, religion, or suspicion to split us. Leaders who thrive on dividing the people are rarely leaders—they are strategists of chaos.
Sabah has always been a land of harmony, where diversity is our strength, not our weakness. Anyone who tries to fracture that harmony does not deserve to represent us.
VOTE FOR LEADERS WITH VISION – REAL VISION
Not those who only know how to give speeches. Not those who are famous for making announcements but failing to deliver. Not those who promise without plans.
Vote for people who have:
✔ A proven track record
✔ A plan for Sabah’s future
✔ The boldness to stand up for Sabah’s rights
✔ The knowledge to bring us forward
✔ The heart to defend our dignity
BEFORE YOU CAST THAT VOTE
Let go of all emotional manipulation. Let go of party colours and slogans. Let go of old habits of voting based on who shouts the loudest.
Stand tall as a Sabahan.
Vote with clarity, not pressure.
Vote with wisdom, not fear.
Vote with hope, not anger.
Your vote is not just a mark on paper. It is a declaration of what kind of Sabah you believe in.
IMAGINE A BETTER SABAH…
Where our leaders make decisions for Sabahans, not for distant masters. Where our culture and identity are honoured and protected. Where development is planned with heart, not ego. Where youth have opportunities, rural communities have support, and every family has dignity.
This future is possible. But only if we choose it—with intention.
YOUR NEW BEGINNING STARTS AFTER 12AM ON THE 29TH NOVEMBER 2025
Choose local leaders who stand on Sabahan soil with Sabahan courage. Choose local leaders who will fight for the next generation, not the next election or political survival. Choose brave local leaders that does not wait for their Peninsula masters to make decisions for the state. Choose wisdom.

The power is in your hands.
