KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah DAP has named seven candidates for the upcoming state election slated for Nov 29.
Phoong Jin Zhe, the chief of Sabah DAP, will contest in Likas, instead of Luyang, a seat he has held for two terms.
His deputy, Chan Foong Hin, will run in Tanjung Aru.
The other DAP candidates include Jannie Lasimbang in Kapayan, Philip Yap (Sri Tanjong), Vivian Wong (Elopura), Chan Loong Wei (Luyang) and Tang Szu Ching in Tanjong Papat.
Their names were announced by DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke during the launch of the party’s election machinery here today.
