PRU Sabah: Warisan ready to govern Sabah without relying on outside parties

KOTA KINABALU – If the people grant a full mandate on November 29, Sabah will be governed entirely by its own people without depending on any outside parties — asserted the Chief Information Officer of Wira Warisan,  Mohammad Norizhuan Awang.

He said that since its inception, the Warisan Party has consistently prioritised the interests of the people of Sabah in every policy and decision made by the party.

He mentioned that Warisan’s decision to contest all 73 seats in the State Assembly reflects the party’s confidence in forming a stable government focused on the people — thereby ending the political practices that only benefit certain groups.

He stressed that when Sabah is led entirely by its own sons and daughters, full attention can be given to economic development, job opportunities, education, health, and the welfare of the people without waiting for approval from outside parties.

Nevertheless, he said, Warisan still respects the good relationship with the Federal Government and was among the first parties to express support for the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, after the 15th General Election as a sign of camaraderie.

“However, in state administration, the absolute priority is Sabah and its people. Governance must be driven by the spirit, essence, and needs of the people of Sabah themselves, regardless of background, ethnicity, or religion,” he said.

He hopes the people of Sabah will give Warisan the chance to prove the party’s true capability in developing the state.

“I am confident that with the strong support of the people across Sabah, Warisan can form a stable, clean government that truly represents the people,” he said.
