KEADILAN is not just a party for Peninsular Malaysia; it is for all Malaysians. – Ramanan

KOTA KINABALU: KEADILAN’s Vice President, Datuk Seri R Ramanan, emphasised that the belief that KEADILAN is solely a Peninsular party is completely unfounded.

He stated that under the leadership of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the party rejects regional politics and consistently promotes unity and the welfare of all citizens across the nation, regardless of their origins, while ensuring that every policy and decision is made fairly and equitably.

“Datuk Seri Anwar allocated the largest budget for Sabah in the 2026 Budget. Therefore, the issue of being a Peninsular or Borneo party does not arise.

“The Prime Minister discusses matters related to MA63 (the Malaysia Agreement 1963). He genuinely cares and intends to improve the lives of not only the people of Sabah but all Malaysians,” he was quoted as saying.

Ramanan, who is also the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, made these remarks to reporters after attending the MADANI Aspirations Program of Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia in Kota Kinabalu on Wednesday.

In addition to attending the ministry’s official programme, he also met with KEADILAN leadership to review preparations for the upcoming Sabah State Assembly General Election (PRN) next month.

Meanwhile, Ramanan noted that the spirit of family and mutual assistance among KEADILAN members forms the foundation of the party’s strength, reflecting the MADANI values instilled by the leadership.

This family concept is also evident in the relationship between the state government and the federal government, which must support each other for mutual progress.
