KOTA BELUD: Josely Taising, the prospective candidate for the Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) in the Kadamaian state constituency, has pledged to deliver excellent services to the residents if given the mandate in the upcoming state election (PRN).
“If the people grant me the mandate in PRN17, I promise to remain attentive to the hopes of the Kadamaian voters.
“We want change, not empty promises. We seek comprehensive and balanced development,” he stated.
Josely made these remarks during his speech at the KDM Kadamaian Youth, Puteri, and Women Gathering forum, which was attended by KDM Deputy President Datuk Wetrom Bahanda at the Gopog Hall, Taginambur on Sunday.
He also outlined several strategic plans to enhance development programs in the DUN Kadamaian area.
He mentioned that this includes strengthening basic infrastructure, developing the local economy, empowering education and skills training for the youth, and ensuring that the voices of Kadamaian residents are heard at all levels.
Josely emphasized the importance of creating a stable and mature political environment.
“We support local parties that are people-oriented. The KDM party is the voice of the people of Sabah – our own voice.
“Only with political stability can planned development be effectively implemented,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kadamaian assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick on Sunday confirmed that he will defend his seat in the upcoming state election.
