KOTA BELUD: The wooden bridge in Kampung Lasau Tintapon, Kadamaian, is in dire need of an upgrade.
In making this call, the potential KDM candidate for the Kadamaian state constituency, Josely Taising, pointed out that the wooden bridge is in a dilapidated state and serves as the main route for the residents of Kg Lasau Tintapon and SK Lasau Tintapon.
“Residents have reported that this bridge is frequently used by trucks over 8 tonnes and mixer trucks, which adds to the damage of the bridge.
“Therefore, the wooden bridge should be repaired to prevent any potential issues,” he said in a recent social media post.
Josely made these comments after visiting the bridge site in Kg Lasau Tintapon on Sunday.
He stated that the KDM community engagement programme will continue to understand the needs of the people in the Kadamaian DUN area.
He also stated that KDM has its own development agenda to further advance Kadamaian if given the mandate in the upcoming state elections.
