KOTA KINABALU: Sabah activist Dr Kanul Gindol has called on fellow Sabahans to rise and demand safer schools and hostels in Sabah as the “Justice for Zara” campaign hit a nationwide fever one month after a form-1 Zara lost her life, allegedly at the hand of her own senior schoolmates at SMK Agama Tun Datu Mustapha Papar.
“If our schools and hostels are not safe for our children, where else is safer?” Dr Kanul said, adding the perpetrators and their collaborators must be reined in; it doesn’t matter if they are children or grandchildren of Sabah VVIPs.
