RMSP, Impak Maksima 2 premiere at 10Star Cinemas City and BenoniCommercial Centre marked historical moment for Papar – Susan

PAPAR: WSG Group Managing Director, Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guen described the Rahmah Madani Sales Program (RMSP) and the premiere of the Malaysian film Impak Maksima 2 held at 10Star Cinemas in Parklane City and Benoni Commercial Centre marked as a historical moment for the Papar district.

Susan expressed her pride that the township developed by her company can host both the carnival and the premiere of the film.

“This is the first time a film premiere has been held here in Parklane City, Papar. I am very excited that the organisers have chosen 10Star Cinemas in Parklane City as the location for the premiere of the film,” she said.

she said this when met by reporters at the launch of the commercial screening of the Sabah short film and the premiere of Impak Maksima 2 at 10 Star Cinema Park Lane City, Benoni Papar on Wednesday night.

The launch ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living and Member of Parliament for Papar, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.

The ceremony was also attended by Limbahau state asseblyman, Datuk Juil Nuatim; 10STAR Cinemas Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Onn Norshal Hamzah and Maksima 2 Impact Director Datuk Ahmad Idham.

Susan said that with the government’s support, the WSG Group was able to develop the township with modern amenities.

“These include well-known F&B outlets such as A&W, McDonald’s and KFC, as well as financial institutions such as Koperasi Co-opbank Pertama Malaysia Berhad (CBP), with Affin Bank and Maybank opening soon,” she said.

Susan also highlighted the ongoing development of Parklane Residences Lifestyle Condominium, with units starting from RM246,000.

She said the township’s amenities such as F&B outlets, reflexology centres, hair salons and cinemas, have attracted visitors, especially from Brunei.

Susan expressed hope that more government events will be organised at Parklane City in the future.

She also announced that a new petrol station will be developed in the township and confirmed that Parkson has agreed to establish a presence in the upcoming shopping mall.

In addition, the WSG Group is in talks with higher learning institutions to open a branch campus in Parklane City.

Meanwhile, Susan said that the Benoni New Township Development will not only have an impact on the local economy but will also generate thousands of job opportunities for the local community.

“There are over 3,000 job opportunities created in Benoni New Township and over 300 shops operating in Parklane City and Benoni Commercial Centre,” she said.
