KDM focuses on water issues in Tenghilan, DUN Tamparuli if given the mandate

TUARAN: The Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) aims to address water supply problems, particularly the low water pressure issue in Tenghilan within the DUN Tamparuli area, if granted the mandate in the upcoming state election (PRN).

KDM’s Vice President Dr. Gaim James Lunkapis stated that based on feedback from the residents of Tenghilan, the low water pressure problem (where water cannot reach the tanks) is not new and has persisted for several decades.

“Most residents of Tenghilan have expressed that they have repeatedly appealed to the government to improve the situation in the past, yet there has been no significant change to be proud of.

“Therefore, KDM is ready to help find a holistic solution to this problem if given the mandate for the common good,” he said.

Dr. Gaim, who is also the KDM Coordinator for Tamparuli, made these comments while reflecting on his recent visits to villages in Tengilan.

He noted that low water pressure is one of the main issues raised by the residents there.

Dr. Gaim, a former socio-economic expert at UMS, also mentioned that issues related to infrastructure, including disruptions in electricity supply and village roads, were brought up.

“It is time for the people of DUN Tamparuli to make a change for a bright, glorious, and distinguished future,” he said.
