TENOM: Sabah UMNO Treasurer, Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak, has affirmed that the party is now in a state of full readiness, with 5,912 branches and 612,867 registered members prepared to be mobilised ahead of the upcoming Sabah State Election (PRN).
He delivered the remarks during the Radu Tatap Radu programme held in the Enubai polling district of Kemabong near here today, which brought together party machinery from the rural parts of Tenom.
“UMNO Sabah’s strength lies not just in numbers but in its organisational discipline and structured field operations. We do not wait for election season to start moving — our machinery is always active and alive.”
Salleh emphasised that the true strength of the party is rooted in active local branches that understand their communities well and operate consistently on the ground.
“5,912 branches and over 600,000 members are not just figures. If we mobilise this strength with discipline and strategy, it will create a significant wave across the state.”
He added that the Radu Tatap Radu programme is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen internal unity and ensure the party’s machinery operates in a focused and coordinated manner in preparation for the state election.
“We don’t need to make noise, but we must be ready. And UMNO Sabah is already on the right track.”
Datuk Ramie was also present at the programme as the UMNO Division Chief for Tenom.
