According to a report from UMNO Online, Sabah UMNO Election Director Jeffery Nor Mohamed, acknowledged the existence of groups deliberately manipulating issues and creating negative perceptions about UMNO’s leadership.

Nevertheless, he said that the party remains steadfast in its mission and focused on its community service efforts for the benefit of the people.

Jeffery, who also serves as the Putatan UMNO Chief, pointed out that Sabah continues to face numerous challenges, including high poverty and unemployment rates, infrastructure issues, and basic necessities such as water and electricity supply.

Furthermore, he noted that the state’s progress has been hindered by various factors and is now tainted by corruption scandals involving state government leaders, which he claims are increasingly alarming to the public.

He emphasised that the people of Sabah desire a stable government to ensure that development can proceed more effectively than the current situation.

Therefore, Jeffery asserted that the upcoming elections present the best opportunity for the people to choose a government that truly represents their interests.
