KOTA KINABALU: Sabah UMNO Information Chief Datuk Suhaimi Nasir has confirmed that there have been no official discussions or agreements between UMNO Sabah and Parti Warisan as of today.
He said that Sabah UMNO has not yet made any decisions regarding forming alliances with other political parties in Sabah.
As such, he emphasised that all circulating reports are merely speculation and do not reflect the official stand of UMNO Sabah.
“UMNO Sabah remains focused on strengthening the party and advocating for the interests of the people of Sabah,” he said in a statement today.
Suhaimi added that in preparation for any eventualities, UMNO Sabah has developed its own strategies.
“UMNO Sabah is confident in the trust of the people and the party’s experience in managing welfare and state development, ensuring it remains the preferred choice for voters across Sabah,” he remarked.
In this regard, he advised all parties not to be swayed by unfounded speculation.
“Any official decisions or announcements will be made through appropriate channels at the right time,” he concluded.
