PENAMPANG: The Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) party in the Tamparuli division has received a boost with the addition of former Assistant District Officer (ADO) Joseph Bangguan, who has officially joined KDM, a local party in Sabah.
Joseph submitted his membership application to KDM Vice President Dr Gaim James Lunkapis during a brief ceremony at the KDM headquarters near here on Friday.
Businessman Alzendra Johnny also presented his official membership application to join the local Sabah party at the same event.
The ceremony was attended by KDM Vice President Gundohing Henry Saimpon and KDM Vice President Dr Oswald Aisat.
Joseph said that his decision to join KDM was influenced by the current political landscape in the state.
He stated, “I am confident that KDM can uphold the legacy and the secrets of success for the State of Sabah that were entrusted to my father by the late Tun Mohd Fuad Stephens.”
It is noteworthy that Gundohing Joseph’s father, Bangguan Bin Dalambun, served as the Personal Information Officer to Tun Mohd Fuad Stephens, as indicated by an appointment letter dated September 1, 1975.
Joseph further added, “I will pass this secret on to the KDM President for further action.”
