Former Kundasang assemblyman joins KDM

KOTA KINABALU: The entry of former Kundasang assemblyman Karim Adam into the Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) is set to invigorate the party’s mission to capture the Kundasang seat in the upcoming state election (PRN).

Karim has pledged his support to KDM in their quest to create a significant impact in the Kundasang constituency, currently held by the acting president of PBS, Datuk Seri Dr. Joachim Gunsalam.

Recently, Karim submitted his membership application to KDM’s Ranau division chief, Adzman Manaf, at a gathering in Desa Aman Kundasang.

Also present at the event was Datuk Jeffry Mohd. Ali.

Previously, KDM president Datuk Peter Anthony indicated that the party is gearing up for a strategic campaign to capture the seat from the acting PBS president in the upcoming PRN17.

Peter confirmed that a candidate for the Kundasang seat has already been identified, with Datuk Jeffry Mohd. Ali being mentioned as a potential contender.
