The event took place at Plaza Tanjung Aru on Sunday, where the Acting President of PBS, Datuk Seri Dr. Joachim Gunsalam, initiated the convoy for the PBS Youth Movement’s outreach.

This convoy, heading towards Tawau, featured several four-wheel-drive vehicles.

“This outreach program aims to demonstrate that PBS remains a relevant force in advocating for the people of Sabah,” stated Dr. Joachim, who also serves as the Deputy Chief Minister II.

He expressed gratitude to the Youth Movement, Tanjung Aru PBS Division, and everyone involved in the initiative.

“To all the youth participating in this program, convey to the public that we stand united and are committed to the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS). Let’s avoid creating unnecessary doubts or questions.

“PBS is the oldest local party, and we must collaborate with other local parties.

“With the State General Election approaching, we face numerous unfounded accusations and fabricated issues aimed at confusing the public. Together with the Supreme Council (AMT), we affirm our commitment to remain aligned with GRS,” he emphasised.

He also reminded all Youth Exco members participating in the outreach to prioritise safety while on the road.

“Stay safe, stay united. Deliver the message to everyone that PBS is a united party fighting for the people of Sabah,” he added.

Dr. Christopher Mandut, the PBS youth chief leading the convoy, expressed his appreciation to Dr. Joachim for sponsoring the program.

Also present were PBS Vice President Datuk Johnny Mositun, members of the Supreme Council (AMT), Tanjung Aru Division Chief Louis Lai, and representatives from the Women’s and Youth Excos.
