KOTA KINABALU: The recent UMNO division meeting in Kota Belud saw a motion put forth advocating for the release and justice for former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Kota Belud UMNO chief Azuwan Marjan expressed the division’s deep sense of loss for a leader who had dedicated himself to the nation during his time as Prime Minister and as a leader of UMNO.
He emphasised the importance of upholding justice and called on the current Madani government to work towards Najib’s release.
The meeting, which took place at the Botung Sports Complex, was attended by UMNO Secretary-General Datuk Wira Dr. Asyarf Wajdi Dato’ Dusuki and UMNO Sabah representative Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Rahman Dahlan.
