KOTA KINABALU: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (PGRS) Likas Division expresses confidence that the good relationship with Pakatan Harapan (PH) will remain strong and solid until the upcoming State Election and General Election.
Likas PGRS Deputy Chief Muammar Julkarnain said that currently, the relationship is going well without any issues in Sabah.
He said that differences of opinion are normal in any organisation and collaboration and do not affect the goals of both parties.
“I firmly believe that the cooperation between PGRS and PH will continue to be strengthened, especially in our efforts to develop the state and unite the people.
“PGRS is comfortable working with PH Sabah and other parties involved in the current state government. We see harmony in governing the state at the moment, and there is no reason for this local coalition to not cooperate with other parties,” he said.
He made these remarks during a courtesy call by PGRS Likas on the Likas Assemblyman at the Ministry of Finance, near here on Monday.
Also present were Likas PGRS Women’s Chief, Halizah Din; Likas PGRS Youth Chief, Shamee Mohd Ron; Likas PGRS Beliawanis Chief, Noor Azee Ashikeen Angsari; PGRS Division Secretary, Zakaria Mandalam; Likas PGRS Information Chief, Mohd Shahezam Salisi; and members of the Likas PGRS Division committee.
The courtesy visit also aimed to invite Tan Lee Fatt as a special guest to the PGRS Likas meeting scheduled for August 17.
Muammar also mentioned that the collaboration has been successful and should be continued for the long term for the benefit and welfare of the people of Sabah.
“Our goal is to achieve a form of political stability in Sabah as we have today. Without political stability and strong government leadership.
