KOTA KINABALU: The chief of the Gagasan Rakyat Likas Women’s Wing, Halizah Din has urged all parties to stop playing political games, and focus on building the state and economy instead.
“What is crucial now is for everyone to work together in finding solutions to the people’s problems, rather than indulging in immature politics and shifting blame onto others.
“We must remember that everything we have today was once united under a common principle. So why focus on our differences now and engage in finger-pointing, blame games, and even incitement and slander at times?
“Enough is enough. As we near the end of this Ramadan, it is fitting to concentrate on pursuing all that is good during the remaining time of this noble month,” she said in q statement today.
Halizah made these remarks during a Ramadan Visit Program at the Keramat Residential Park on Sunday.
Also present were Dr Davina Datuk Markus Majihi, Chairperson of the Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Women’s Health Bureau, Aween Shafinas, a member of the Health Bureau, and youth members of the Gagasan Rakyat Likas branch.
