KOTA KINABALU: Former Sabah chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman praised former Sarawak governor Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud as an exceptional statesman and a visionary leader.
Musa, in a statement, commended Taib for transforming Sarawak from a stagnant region into a thriving and progressive state.
According to Musa, Taib’s dedicated efforts have significantly contributed to the socio-economic development of the state and improved the standard of living for its people.
Having worked closely with Taib during his tenure as the 14th chief minister of Sabah from 2003 to 2018, Musa acknowledged Taib’s unwavering focus and extensive leadership experience.
He also highlighted Taib’s remarkable achievement in fostering unity among the diverse multiethnic and religious communities in Sarawak.
