SANDAKAN : A total of 101 members of Warisan Peringkat 5 Rancangan Sungai Manila have left the party to join Barisan Nasional (BN) and Umno.
Their Umno membership forms were handed over to candidate of BN Libaran, Datuk Suhaimi Nasir at Peringkat 5, Rancangan Sungai Manila, this morning.
Former members of Warisan Peringkat 5 were jointly headed by Rosman Rashid, Hassan Asmat dan Roslan Nanang.
Also witnessed the ceremony were BN Libaran electoral director cum, Sungai Manila assemblyman, Mokran Ingkat,Sungai Manila assemblyman, Datuk Mohd Hamsan Awang Supain, Libaran incumbent, Datuk Zakaria Mohd Edris, Bersatu Libaran Deputy Chief Datuk Juslie Ajirol and former candidate of Parti Cinta Sabah DUN Sungai Sibuga, Irwanshah Mustapa.
Earlier, Suhaimi reminded Libaran voters to vote wisely and choose the right party with a good track record on this 19 November.
“We all knew that only BN can provide development, protect people’s welfare and enhance the country’s economic.
“We want all these to have continuity for the sake of a prosperous and more secure future for the country,” he said.
In the meantime, he also took note some of the issues and problems voiced out by residents at Peringkat 5.
It includes the issue of road and the residents’ welfare in which Suhaimi is committed to take appropriate action.
“Continue to give support to me and BN so that the issue of residents in Libaran, including at Peringkat 5, will be brought to the federal level,” he explained.
