SANDAKAN: Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Libaran, Datuk Suhaimi Nasir is determined to solve some of the people’s welfare problems in Libaran.
Residents in several villages have submitted the welfare problems directly to him during the campaigning session at Kampung Tinusa 1, here today.
Suhaimi, who is also an Appointed Assemblyman said that the problems faced by the people will be solved after the General Election.
“For example, a problem faced by a resident of Kampung Tinusa 1 who has ten children and four of them are special need children.
“Although they had received assistance from people’s representatives but their application from Welfare Department is sill pending and need to be resolved,” he stressed.
In this regard, Suhaimi will try to bring the problem faced by the family to get proper attention from the government.
Meanwhile, in a meeting with the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) machinery in the village, Suhaimi reminded them to fight to the finish line ahead of voting day.
“As long as there is an opportunity, continue to appeal for support from the people. We need to ensure that the Libaran Parliament contributes seats for the formation of the federal government,” he said.
At the same time, he also invited Libaran voters to come and fulfill their responsibilities on November 19.
“Choose a candidate who is authoritative and has a clear agenda in developing the area and people in Libaran,” he explained.
