SANDAKAN : During this critical period leading up to voting day on Saturday, Warisan Libaran lost members who left the party to join Umno, yesterday.
The mass walkout declaration was held in two separate locations, namely Taman Sri Rimba and Kampung Sungai Kayu.
At Taman Sri Rimba, Husain Mohamad handed over membership forms involving 114 people to the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate who is also Umno Libaran Division Head, Datuk Suhaimi Nasir.
Meanwhile, another 103 people in Kampung Sungai Kayu also submitted their membership forms to Suhaimi.
Some of them were Warisan members and several others are on-the-fence voters which not yet registered with any party.
They voluntarily left Warisan because they were disappointed with the party’s management that considered weak and unsystematic.
In fact, they are ready to show their support and will help the BN machinery in the effort to Libaran Parliament in this GE-15.
