SANDAKAN : Despite being busy campaigning, Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Libaran Parliment , Datuk Suhaimi Nasir had time to visit the less fortunate.
During the visit, he met the elderly, disabled children and sick individuals while listening to their the problems.
Suhaimi is determined to continue the agenda of helping those groups if given the opportunity by the people of Libaran Parliament to win the 15th General Election (GE-15).
“This group needs protection and proper attention, moreover if they come from low income family backgrounds.
“There are a lot of costs that need to be borne to take care of sick family members and on that basis I am determined to help them,” he said while visiting the elderly in Kampung Tinusa 1, yesterday.
According to Suhaimi, the agenda to help needy people is certainly one of his struggle apart from bringing more development to the Libaran area.
He will ensure infrastructure development and human capital development are balance for Libaran.
“We want to develop Libaran not only in terms of infrastructure, but also in terms of economy and people so that it moves together,” he explained.
