KOTA KINABALU March 19: MCA Sabah’s four newly appointed PPM will be working hard to delivering their best to constituents in their respective areas.
They will each lead a service team and play their roles in being the voice of the people, said MCA Sabah Chief Lu Yen Tung in a statement today.
Lu disclosed that he, Dr Chang Kee Ying, Datuk Chew Kok Woh and Ng Boon Leng were all appointed PPM in Kapayan, Likas, Karamunting and Elopura respectively.
Lu, Chang and Chew had all contested in the state election last year in the Kapayan, Likas and Karamunting constituencies respectively but all lost while Ng served as Sandakan municipal councilor for 20 years.
“Eventhough MCA lost in the last state election, the party’s leaders and team will continue to play their roles in serving the communities in Sabah,” said Lu adding that MCA Sabah is a well established party in Sabah as it has been in the state for 30 years.
Each PPM office has been set up and they will create more channels including on social media through which they will reach out the communities, he said.
