KOTA KINABALU: Five students and four teachers from SM. St Michael in Penampang tested positive for Covid-19 between January 26 and February 3, this year.
Local Government and Housing Minister, Datuk Masidi Manjun said that the infections at the school begun with family contact.
“However, there have been no positive cases after February 3,” he said at the press conference here today.
He also said that four students and 14 teachers were found Covid-19 positive at eight schools in Sandakan which have been shuttered before this.
The schools are SM St. Mary, SMK Batu Sapi, SMK Elopura Bestari, SMK Perempuan, SMK Sandakan, Sandakan Vocational College, SM St. Cecelia and SMK Agama Tun Juhar.
All the schools have reopened.
