KUALA LUMPUR: National top-ranked men’s doubles pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik have sealed their spot in the Toyota Thailand Open finals.

The were the sole national representatives to get past the semi-finals of the tournament in Bangkok, today.
The duo, World Number Nine and seeded eight in the tournament, were among the national doubles pairs besides women’s doubles Chow Mei Kuan-Lee Meng Yean and mixed doubles Hoo Pang Ron-Cheah Yee See who qualified for the semi-finals yesterday.
In today’s action at the Impact Arena, Aaron and Soh took just 35 minutes to clinch a 21-18, 21-18 victory over World Number 10, R.Satwiksairaj-S.Chirag of India, according to the Badminton World Federation (BWF) website, www.bwfbadminton.com.
