KUALA LUMPUR: Seven localities in Sabah and two in Pahang will come under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from Monday (Aug 2), said Senior Foreign Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.<\/p>\n
He said\u00a0in Sabah,\u00a0five localities in\u00a0Kota Kinabalu, namely\u00a0Lorong Kuala Laut Likas; Kampung Warisan; Kampung Darau, Menggatal; Kampung Rakyat Baru and\u00a0Kuarters Pekerja Imbas Jaya, Jalan Kionsom would be placed under the EMCO\u00a0until Aug 14.
\nThe EMCO in two other localities in Sabah –\u00a0Kampung Melulugus and Lorong 3, Kampung Klias Baru in Beaufort – as well as\u00a0two areas in Rompin, Pahang\u00a0– Bandar Melati and Ladang Senang\u00a0will be enforced from Monday until Aug 15.
\n\u201cThe standard operating procedures\u00a0(SOPs) for\u00a0all EMCO\u00a0areas are the\u00a0same as previously announced. Further information can be accessed at the National Security Council\u2019s website at www.mkn.gov.my,\u201d in a\u00a0statement on the National Recovery Plan (PPN) and EMCO today.
\nMeanwhile, he said\u00a0the EMCO in\u00a0Pos Iskandar, Bera, Pahang and\u00a0Kampung Tinusa 2, Sandakan in\u00a0Sabah\u00a0that was supposed to end tomorrow has been extended to Aug 15.
