We were given the mandate by the people who ousted a backdoor government last year.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cThe opposition has tried numerous times to destabilise this government but has been frustrated since the parties that make up GRS are those who understand that true power belongs in the hands of the people.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cAs such, we will continue to work hard for the people, fulfil our promises made during the election campaign and move Sabah forward,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Kitingan added that as a party, STAR would continue to support the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Mohd Noor and urged its members to remain calm and carry on with their duties as usual.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KOTA KINABALU: Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) has applauded the decision made by Sabah Umno Chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin to continue the party\u2019s support for the GRS government.
