SANDAKAN: Sabah UMNO Information Chief Datuk Suhaimi Haji Nasir, has welcomed the statement by the Deputy Prime Minister and UMNO President, Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, emphasising that UMNO-BN Sabah must regain its position as the leading party in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He aclarified that this statement is not merely an aspiration but a call to action that must be embraced with confidence and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUMNO-BN Sabah has historically been the backbone of the political landscape in this state, fostering stability and development that the people have benefited from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are confident that with a resurgence of our fighting spirit, strengthened party machinery, and public support, we can restore that glory,\u201d he said in a statement today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that the upcoming PRN-17 will be a pivotal moment for the struggle of UMNO-BN Sabah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is the time for us to take stronger steps, reinforce our grassroots, and assure the public that UMNO-BN remains the best platform to advocate for their interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe party machinery across Sabah is actively mobilizing, and I am convinced that with unity and a strong fighting spirit, UMNO-BN will re-emerge as the primary political force in Sabah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will not retreat, we will not falter, because this struggle is for the people and the beloved state of Sabah,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Suhaimi called upon all members and supporters of UMNO-BN to rise together at this crucial moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
