KOTA KINABALU: Warisan youth chief Terrence Au has criticised Chan Loong Wei, the Youth Chief of DAP Sabah, for failing to address a significant issue\u2014the corruption scandal involving the state government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a report by Malaysiakini, Au’s remarks were in response to Chan’s statement highlighting DAP’s contributions in Sabah after being challenged by Warisan Youth to demonstrate the party’s impact in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, Au emphasised that Chan avoided answering questions regarding DAP’s silence on the unresolved corruption scandal in his explanation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Why is Chan avoiding my question about the corruption scandal?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“It is disheartening that DAP, a part of the GRS government, has not addressed the rampant corruption crisis in our state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This party continues to remain silent and has not expressed its stance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Why does this party choose to be mute on such a serious matter? This silence speaks volumes,” he stated in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
