KUALA LUMPUR: The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP) is poised to establish a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (PMKS) Hub in Sabah and Sarawak next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Its Minister, Datuk Ewon Benedick, said that the creation of the PMKS Hub in the Borneo region, under the supervision of SME Corp. Malaysia, aims to enhance access to PMKS information for entrepreneurs in both states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe PMKS Hub will serve as a one-stop information platform for PMKS to obtain various business-related information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis includes details on starting a business, market access, human capital development, financial resources, and learning best practices in business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNext year, we plan to expand the SME Corp PMKS Hub with one location in Sabah and another in Sarawak, in addition to the existing PMKS Hub in Peninsular Malaysia,\u201d he said in a press statement after attending the @PMKS Hub SME Corp Malaysia Open Day today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI hope events like this will benefit all entrepreneurs. In terms of capacity, PMKS has contributed RM19 billion in taxes to the national revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the Open Day @PMKS, themed \u201cKUSKOP and Agencies Empowering PMKS,\u201d various briefings were held, including the Status of PMKS and the Implementation of SCORE by SME Corp Malaysia, Entrepreneurship Training and Guidance by INSKEN, Business Transformation by PERNAS, the Tekun Niaga Financing Scheme by Tekun, Entrepreneur Empowerment by Bank Rakyat, and a briefing on EPF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, advisory and networking sessions were conducted by Bank Rakyat, focusing on \u201cBank Rakyat Driving Empowerment and Sustainability for Madani Entrepreneurs\u201d and collaborative financing with OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
