KOTA KINABALU: Masidi Manjun, the secretary-general of GRS, has reiterated his request for the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) to make a clear decision regarding its affiliation with either PN or GRS, emphasising that the party, led by Datuk Yong Teck Lee, cannot simultaneously belong to both coalitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have previously stated this. Ultimately, SAPP must determine whether it wishes to align with one side or the other. There is no alternative,\u201d he remarked in a video shared by Sabah Media on Facebook. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite this, Masidi expressed optimism that the issue could be resolved in a cooperative manner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He noted that discussions regarding seat allocations among GRS members for the upcoming state elections have not yet commenced, as the coalition does not anticipate significant complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, Masidi clarified that Gabungan Rakyat Sabah is not currently considering PAS as a potential partner for the next Sabah elections, citing the Islamic party’s existing alliance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
