KOTA KINABALU: Former Petagas Assemblyman Datuk James Ligunjang has highlighted the detrimental consequences of involving Malayan parties in Sabah’s political processes under the guise of driving development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said instead of promoting economic growth and safeguarding Sabah’s rights, this approach has hindered the state’s progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The interference of Malayan parties in Sabah’s political landscape has contributed to the state’s current economic and political stagnation,” he said in a statement today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To achieve tangible progress, Ligunjang believes that Sabah must adopt a new approach that removes the influence of Malayan parties in state politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He firmly believes that Sabahans are fully capable of governing their own state and leading it towards progress and prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ligunjang urges Sabahans to take ownership of their destiny and demonstrate that Sabah can thrive without external interference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He highlights Sabah’s rich cultural heritage, strong work ethics, and unwavering determination to build a better future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
