{"id":28083,"date":"2024-04-15T08:29:24","date_gmt":"2024-04-15T00:29:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jesseltontimes.com\/wpmarch2025\/?p=28083"},"modified":"2024-04-15T08:29:26","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T00:29:26","slug":"two-die-in-a-crash-in-kota-belud","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jesseltontimes.com\/wpmarch2025\/2024\/04\/15\/two-die-in-a-crash-in-kota-belud\/","title":{"rendered":"Two die in a crash in Kota Belud"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KOTA KINABALU: Two individuals lost their lives in a traffic collision at Bukit Kelawat in Kota Belud on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Operations Centre (PGO) spokesperson of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Sabah, in a statement today, said that they were alerted to the incident at 7.42 pm (on April 14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A team of firefighters from the Kota Belud Fire and Rescue Station promptly responded to the scene, which was approximately 16 kilometers away from the station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon arrival, they discovered that the accident involved a Proton Wira car and a Toyota Revo four-wheel drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The firefighters successfully extricated two victims who were trapped in the Proton Wira car, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene by the KKM medical officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victims, a 28-year-old man and woman, were then handed over to the police for further investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, the driver and a passenger of the Toyota Revo were reported to be unharmed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KOTA KINABALU: Two individuals lost their lives in a traffic collision at Bukit Kelawat in Kota Belud on Sunday evening.
