KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Umno liaison committee chairman Datuk Bung Moktar Radin has responded to PKR’s Hassan Karim’s call for a change in Umno’s leadership, asserting that PKR is not a strong party either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He told FMT that PKR could only form the government with the assistance of other parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bung emphasized that Umno knows how to manage itself and understands its own strengths and weaknesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He pointed out that if PKR was a strong party, it would have won the last general election without needing the support of other parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bung also said that Hassan, being from a different party, has no right to interfere in Umno’s affairs as he is not a member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bung said that Umno has a system in place, and its president, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, was chosen by Umno members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bung advised Hassan to join Umno if he wants to comment on its matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
