SHAH ALAM: Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) president Datuk Peter Anthony said a 2018 police report by a key witness related to the case he faced was genuine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said an Aug. 9, 2018 police report by a person named Mohud Sukur Mohud Din who claimed his written statement had been fabricated by the investigating officer, had recently been corroborated by the police themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Accordingly, the Melalap assemblyman said he would take appropriate steps by sending a copy of the police report as new evidence to the Court of Appeals and the Office of the Attorney General to seek due justice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The results obtained by the Putatan Police Station in Penampang confirm the authenticity of the statement made by Mohud Sukur Mohud Din, a key witness in my prosecution case through an initial report in 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“With this confirmation, a copy will be submitted to the Attorney General’s Office and the Court of Appeals for follow-up action so that this case can be resolved fairly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This authentic report proved an evil political conspiracy to humiliate me so that I could stand trial at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court in 2020.,” he said at a special press conference, here, today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
