{"id":18319,"date":"2023-02-03T22:05:42","date_gmt":"2023-02-03T14:05:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jesseltontimes.com\/wpmarch2025\/?p=18319"},"modified":"2023-02-03T22:05:42","modified_gmt":"2023-02-03T14:05:42","slug":"pak-mus-restaurant-offers-first-menu-rahmah-in-sabah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jesseltontimes.com\/wpmarch2025\/2023\/02\/03\/pak-mus-restaurant-offers-first-menu-rahmah-in-sabah\/","title":{"rendered":"Pak Mus Restaurant offers first Menu Rahmah in Sabah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KOTA KINABALU: Although the Menu Rahmah initiative has yet to be expanded to Sabah, Pak Mus Restaurant here is offering the affordable balanced meal, starting today.<br \/>\nMusli Oli, 63, the owner of the restaurant, located at Tanjung Aru Plaza, here, decided to offer the Menu Rahmah from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm daily.<br \/>\n\u201cInsya-Allah, Pak Mus Restaurant will offer the Menu Rahmah daily to customers who come here,\u201d he told Bernama here today.<br \/>\nMenu Rahmah initiative, mooted by the federal government, comprises a balanced meal that includes rice, a choice of protein, either chicken or fish, and vegetables, which is being offered\u00a0to those affected by the current increase in the cost of living.<br \/>\nMusli said that the nutritious and balanced menu, offered to customers at the price of RM5, consists of rice, a choice of chicken or fish, vegetables and syrup.<br \/>\nHe said his initiative was in response to the government&#8217;s call to help reduce the cost of living for the people, especially in the state.<br \/>\nYesterday, Parti Warisan (Warisan) vice-president, Datuk Junz Wong, praised the Menu Rahmah initiative mooted by the federal government, and urged the Sabah government, led by Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), to implement it in the state.<br \/>\nOn Tuesday (Jan 31), the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) launched the Menu Rahmah, which offers a lunch or dinner meal priced at RM5 per plate, at 15,000 participating food premises nationwide.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, customer, Ramli Halim, 50, who is self-employed, said the initiative to offer Menu Rahmah not only helps the target groups but also all levels of society.<br \/>\nHe said that the average expenditure for a meal per day is estimated to be up to RM50 per person, and that amount is quite large for those who have a large family.<br \/>\n\u201cThe Menu Rahmah is really good because it not only helps the poor but all the workers, because even ordering online is expensive.
