TUARAN: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor has no qualms with Umno Sabah chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin\u2019s proposal for the present state administration to be known as Gabungan Rakyat Sabah \u2013 Barisan Nasional (GRS-BN) state government.
\n\u201cIn fact, this is (agreed upon) before the last state election that the GRS pact will include BN even though it (BN) is another alliance and cannot be in GRS.
\n\u201cBut in the state government it is different, it is an alliance between GRS and BN.
\n\u201cSo from today onwards we will call it the GRS-BN State Government,\u201d said Hajiji who is GRS pro tem chairman when met after a working visit to Tamparuli here on Sunday.
\nBung who is also a Deputy Chief Minister made the call after GRS was officially registered as a political coalition that comprised Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM), Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) and Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS).
\nBefore its registration, GRS comprised Perikatan Nasional, BN and PBS.
\nThe BN components are Umno, MCA, MIC and PBRS.
\nAlthough BN is not part of the officially registered GRS, Bung had said they were nonetheless supportive of the GRS government as well as part of the political pact that won the last state elections.
\nBung had said that it would not be fair if BN was not mentioned as part of the state government.
