Sabah BN chief Datuk Seri Panglima Bung Moktar Radin.

He said there were various recommendations received from the top leadership of BN and Umno to prepare a new offer to regain the support of the people ahead of the PRN17.

He has tasked a team led by BN Sabah Secretary Datuk Jafry Arifin, along with Umno leaders and BN Sabah components, to collaborate on drafting a comprehensive, transparent, and feasible manifesto for the future.

The focus is on enhancing critical basic infrastructure development, boosting the economy, reducing unemployment rates, and providing incentives to young voters to influence voting patterns in the upcoming PRN, he said.

Bung Moktar said this in a statement following the Sabah BN meeting held at the Umno building recently.

Also present were Deputy Chairman of BN Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Rahman Dahlan, BN Sabah Secretary Datuk Jafry Arifin, BN Sabah Treasurer Datuk Seri Dr Sallleh Said Keruak, as well as leaders and deputy leaders of BN Sabah from MIC, MCA, and PBRS.

Bung Moktar, who is also Sabah Umno chief, said that the party’s manifesto is a commitment that can be fulfilled, not just empty promises or lofty ideas like those made by other parties that have failed to deliver.

He stressed that the Sabah BN manifesto is based on BN’s capacity to fulfill it, avoiding unrealistic promises that cannot be kept.

Preparing the manifesto early is crucial to addressing any potential scenarios, he added.
