KOTA KINABALU: The newly appointed Director-General of the Malaysia Checkpoints and Border Agency (MCBA), Datuk Seri Hazani Ghazali, met with the Sabah Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, at the Kinabalu Tower here on Monday.

Hajiji congratulated Hazani on his appointment and expressed confidence that his extensive experience and leadership would place him in a good position to take on the new role.
During the meeting, Hazani shared his plans with the Chief Minister for the agency’s future direction.
Hazani’s appointment will take effect on January 31, 2024.
Previously, Hazani held the positions of ESSCOM Commander and Sabah Police Commissioner.
