KOTA BELUD: Usukan assemblyman, Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak visited the Community Vaccination Mobilisation programme for his constituency held at SK Kuala Abai, today.
The programme is for the protection against Covid-19 for the community.
Salleh who is also the former Sabah Chief Minister said that an estimated of 1,380 people joined the vaccination programme.
“I congratulate the people of Usukan for supporting the vaccination programme,” he said to reporters at SK Kuala Abai where the programme was held.
He also thanked the workers from the Health Ministry for their contribution and said that he hoped all will go well.
The programme was jointly organised by the Health Ministry and the Community Leader Development Unit (UPPM) for Usukan and assisted by friends of SSK Centre.
Yesterday, Sabah registered 1,066 new Covid-19 cases which is the highest so far.
Kota Kinabalu recorded the highest number of new cases with 206, followed by Tawau with 171 cases and Beaufort with 87 cases.
Kota Belud registered 23 new cases.
